FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Daisy – the Great America Dog (from the comic strip Blondie). Daisy is always aware of what is going on in our family.      She is loving and intelligent.    She can be shy in new situations and takes a little while to warm up.    She is a mellow, sensitive lover of comfort (she loves her hiding places in closets and in our mud room).    She interacts wonderfully with the four other dogs in our family, but will retreat to peace and quiet at will.    She loves to “nest” in or outside of her crate.    She gets along great with everyone - animals, adults, and our neighbor’s kids.    We have just started training her on simple commands but more consistent training is needed.    She has only shown mild interest in toys and would rather be in the yard sunning by the deck or exploring the scents.    She enjoys her daily walks and the freedom of our fenced in back yard and dog door.     She will be a wonderful addition to any home!

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Daisy and two of her puppies were found by a Good Samaritan.  She found a home for one of the puppies and then reached out to BFPA for help and we were happy to admit this sweet girl and her other puppy, Maisy.
