FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Maisy is an incredibly sweet puppy who loves to snuggle and give kisses.  She is very playful and is starting to learn  how to play fetch.  She's doing great with her potty training and crate training.  She gets along well with other dogs and cats and she loves every person she meets.  Maisy's loves to shake and chew her rope bone.  When she isn't playing, rolling around in the grass or learning new things, she loves nothing more than to curl up on her people for a good nap.  Maisy can't wait to find her forever family!

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Maisy and one of her siblings were found with their mom by a Good Samaritan who took them in and brought them to good health.  She reached out to BFPA after one of the puppies was adopted and we were happy to admit Maisy and her mom, Daisy, to our network.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.
