MICROCHIPPED: Yes

AROUND DOGS: Kaci does well with dogs when introduced properly. 

AROUND CHILDREN: Kaci loves all people and is great with children. 

HOUSEBROKEN: Yes

CRATETRAINED: Kaci loves to sleep on a dog bed and prefers to be near her family as much as possible.  She has excellent house manners and does not need to be crated.

LEASH MANNERS: Kaci loves to go on walks and does well with a loose leash and a body harness.  She lives for her walks!!  

CAR RIDES: Kaci loves going on car rides.  She likes a doggie seat belt and riding shotgun!

COMMENTS ABOUT KACI: Kaci is a hound/chocolate lab mix.  She is a low key dog that loves the attention of people. She is very intelligent and loves learning new things.  She gets along with other dogs but as with any new dog, should be introduced properly. She would also do fine as an only dog. She is not destructive and just wants the companionship of people.  She loves to lounge on the couch.  Walks and lounging on the couch are her favorite things.  Could she lounge on your couch?  

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  BFPA first admitted Kaci when we found out that she was left chained outside and abandoned by her owners. Kaci was adopted in 2016 and did remarkably well adjusting to inside living and knowing the love that humans can provide.  She loves people more than anything else and is making up for lost time by getting in all the snuggles she can. But due to unforeseen circumstances in the adopters life which have nothing to do with Kaci's personality,  she unfortunately is being returned to BFPA and is once again looking for her forever home.
