FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Yuki and his 5 siblings were born to mama, Chloe, during a snowstorm on January 23, 2016. He and his siblings are thriving in foster care and will be ready to "leave the nest" and head to their forever homes in a few weeks. 

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: A very pregnant Chloe found herself at the Duplin County Shelter due to no fault of her own. When volunteers reached out to BFPA for help, we were happy to bring this sweet and deserving mama into our program and help her and her puppies find their forever families. Chloe gave birth to 6 adorable puppies and has been an amazingly devoted mom.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.
