Smart, Sweet, Playful
FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:
Georgia is a 45 lb black and tan Shiba Inu mix and she is a total sweet heart!! She loves to play with dogs and her humans, and she loves to cuddle. Couch time and floor time snuggles are her favorite times.
The sweet girl, who will turn 3 years old in January, is currently happily living the fostered life in a home with two dogs and two cats. She loves playing with the dogs, and she is respectful of the kitties. Georgia is crate-trained and house-broken.
Georgia likes toys, but she loves treats! She is a smart girl and learns quickly. She is an energetic, loving and happy dog, and will make someone a wonderful new best friend. Georgia loves the outdoors so a dog door and fenced in yard would be the best set up for her (no apartments or townhomes please).
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Georgia originally came to BFPA about 2 years ago with her litter of 5 pups from a rural North Carolina shelter. Unfortunately, through no fault of her own, Georgia's adoption did not work out, and she was surrendered back to BFPA. We are now looking for her forever home with some lucky family. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING GEORGIA?
