FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Violet is a sweet girl who would make a wonderful addition to a family with or without children or other dogs. She does very well with the elderly dogs in her foster home and is wonderful around children. She is a calm, sweet girl who loves to be with her people. She is playful and just can't stop wagging her tail. She can't wait to find her forever family!

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Violet and her siblings found themselves at a high kill rural shelter due to no fault of their own. When shelter volunteers reached out to BFPA on their behalf, we were happy to admit these siblings to our network and help them on their journey to find their forever homes.

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.
